Supa wood oil is prized in the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. It is used as medicine and manufacturing of paints, varnishes and transparent paper. The way the oil is harvested is a sad story of destruction: the felled log is hacked to cut activities in its base, and the flow of oil is stimulated with fire.
