Sablot is a member of the aromatic laurel family trees whose leaves are used in cooking adobo. The oil from its seeds are used to make candles and soaps. A row of sablot trees may be seen on the middle island of Padre Burgos, which stretches for 200 meters from Roxas Boulevard.
