Pick a libas leaf and it to appease your hunger while waiting for your simmering paksiw dish, soured by libas leaves and its green fruit. If the libas fruit, whetger ripe or sour, reminds you of sineguelas (Spondias purpurea), it is because these two species are siblings, albeit the sineguelas in non-native.
