Baguilimbang, a moderately fast-growing tree, is a source of oil. It may also be used as a living fence and an ornamental tree. It is a hardly tree that can withstand drought even with minimal care. As the name implies, lumbang and baguilumbang are relatives. Several of these trees species have been planted along the northbound lane of NLEX at 19-20km.
